Open-Meteo Historical Weather Archive provides global reanalysis weather data through the /v1/archive API. It returns hourly and daily weather variables for any latitude/longitude and date range, including temperature, humidity, dew point, precipitation, rain, snowfall, wind speed, wind gusts, wind direction, pressure, cloud cover, solar radiation, evapotranspiration, soil temperature, soil moisture, and WMO weather codes. Historical weather data is spatially complete because reanalysis blends observations from stations, aircraft, buoys, radar, and satellites with numerical weather models. Coverage reaches back to 1940 for ERA5, 1950 for ERA5-Land, and 2017 for high-resolution ECMWF IFS, with JSON responses by default and CSV/XLSX format options.
